All children in Year 3 have the exciting opportunity to camp out overnight on the school field as part of a day & night adventure. Children will take part in activities such as bushcraft, campcraft, life skills and games to help develop their communication, co-operation, independence, leadership and listening skills. More details of the activities and the company who provide this amazing opportunity can be found at :https://www.theoutdoorspeople.com/activities/
This is a great opportunity for your child to experience, potentially, their first overnight experience with the year group ready for larger trips in Year 4, 5 and 6. By having this camp so close to home, they can feel secure and know that parents are nearby. Even the most reluctant children have always thrived and looked back fondly on it for years to come. We expect all children to take part.
Children will camp together on Monday night in tents (of approximately 8 children). The year group will be split into two groups to take part in the daytime activities. When not taking part in camping activities, children will be in class doing normal lessons.
To secure your child's place, please make deposit payment of £20.00 via MCAS by Friday 26th September 2025.
Booking will open on  Friday 5th September at 9am. The final balance of £50 will be due on Friday 27th February 2026.
Pupil Premium Passport
If your child has a Pupil Premium Passport, the cost of the trip will be covered by school. Please contact Jane Peterson, our Finance Manager at finance@fielding.ealing.sch.uk to indicate you would like your child to attend. You do not need to book on MCAS as this will generate a fee, Jane will instead manually add your child to the trip register.
